Hayward Airport lays under Oakland’s class C airspace. Tours over downtown San Francisco, the Golden Gate and Oakland are easily accessible to the airport. Flight training from private pilot to commercial including helicopter training! Instructor rates vary depending upon the CFI’s experience and rental rates are competitive among flight schools located in the bay area. International students are welcomed at most flight schools located on the field.
